Dedication For My Dad

i feel like, i forgot something, that are really important. forgot something that are related to me. something that i should not forgot.

but, i continuing do my work...not to consider that problem...

mom : good evening aus.[my nickname among my family]

pdot: is daddy okey?

mom : aus la, you forgot to wish your daddy for his birthday.

pdot: oh no, i forgot la...

brief introdution about my dad,

My daddy, mr. Zulkifli Bin Salleh, were born at Jelawat, kelantan on 7 february 1960. graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. currently working with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. as a geochemist in XTG department. initially, he work with PETRONAS Research Sdn. Bhd. in subsurface department.

marrying with my mother who also in the same 'kampung' in jelawat, kelantan. hoho...

with that, i wish heppy belated birthday to my daddy.

"Ya Allah, kau ampunilah dosaku, dosa kedua ibu bapaku, rahmatilah mereka, seperti mana mereka menyayangi aku sejak kecil"

i'm very sorry to my family as i did not go back to home during this CNY. insya Allah, your son in here are healthy as usual.

Dah Kahwin Ke?

suasana petang sabtu yg dingin, bru lps hujan...

KringKring!!!!

pdotz: assalamualaikum mom, sihat?

mom: wslm aus[panggilan manja di rumah]sihat, bru balik lawat idin[adik ana] kat semashur.

pdotz: owh...

mom: eh, mu dah kawin ko?

pdotz: eh, knapo?

mom: mu cakap betul2 ni

pdotz: hoh...bakpo pulok ni.

perbualan disambung dgn pdotz menjelaskan situasi sebenar pada ibunya di bangi, bandar ilmu.

punca terjadi,

tika di PMU, internship 32 mingggu, bulan puasa, level 27 tower 1, PETRONAS Twin Towers.

ana dan trainee2 lain ditugaskan untuk mendekorasi ofis sempena hari raya eid fitri.kami ditugaskan bersama kak fida[seorang staff yg senior di PETRONAS]

kak fida : eh, pdotz, dah nak balik dah? bru je pukul 5.

trainee 1: bese la kak, pdotz balik awal ade sebab.

trainee 2: pdotz ade bini nak kne jage

kak fida : owh, ye ke? dah kawin rupenye kamu...

ana hanya mampu tersenyum...[xmo aku duk keje sampai malam, gaji bayor rm500, so kne keje takat tu je la...hoho]

maka, termaktub la dalam fikiran akak tu yg ana ni dah kawin, siap tanye lg, bini hang sihat ka?

nak dijadikan cita...

ayah ana, bru sahaja ditukarkan ke PCSB dari PRSB...maka bertukarlah ayah ana ni ke KLCC.

tika ayah ana selesai memarkir kete di KLCC bersama my sister who studies in UIAM, maka ayah ana terserempak dgn kak fida ni.

kak fida : eh, haji zul, dah pindah sini ke?

ayah ana : baru sebulan, kat sini gak ke?

kak fida : a ah, level 27, PMU

ayah ana : owh, ana saya pun internship kat situ dlu

kak fida : eh, sape ye?

ayah ana : firdaus

kak fida : owh, pdotz...mcm mne die skang?bini die sihat?

ayah ana : [tergamam]...bini?

kak fida : anak you dah kawin kan?

maka, ayah ana pun tepon la mak ana, tanye betul ke ana ni dah kawin.maka terjadi la cite sedemikian rupe...

tu la, gurauan masa lampau akhirnye menjadi-jadi di masa kini.

akibatnye ana digelakkan beramai2 oleh family ana...[family yg ade skang ni ye, ana x kawin lg]....

mak ana pun suspicious, kot2 ana ni g kawin kat selatan thai..ye la, slalu x balik je, raye cina ni pun, bile ana cakap yang ana x balik, mak ana ckp, jgn g jumpe bini dah la.takut nanti, bile dah grad, mak ni menantu mak, setahun simpan.

kamu tu, duit pun xdok, nak bg anak orang makan....[kate2 keras dari mak ana]

insya Allah, pengajaran byk kat situ...[perlu good planning and preparation nak kawin ni...hoho]

yg penting, rujukilah ibu bapa.

Every day...[almost every day]... on the way going for works, i will go to gerai nasi lamak in front of my apartment[putra villa] to buy nasi lemak that was sold by Isteri[wife] of head security in my apartment...

quite delicious and cheap.

nasi lamak biasa - rm1.20
nasi lemak with telur goreng - rm1.80
and others....

have a try....

My Host Company...

32 weeks, quite a long time. A long journey, living on top of sky, level 27, about 200 meter from the ground, lot of experiences gained. Just to sharing about my internship place, my host company, Petroleum Management Unit. Such a workaholic place where as everybody working so hard and leave lately, but there is some cheers from their faces. Somebody said PMU is PETRONAS beloved company. Believe it or not.

• Introduction of PETRONAS
PETRONAS the acronym for Petroliam Nasional Berhad, was incorporated on 17 August 1974 under the Companies Act 1965. It is wholly-owned by the Malaysian government and is vested with the entire ownership and control of the petroleum resources in Malaysia through the Petroleum Development Act 1974.

Over the years, PETRONAS has grown to become a fully-integrated oil and gas corporation and is ranked among FORTUNE Global 500's largest corporations in the world. PETRONAS has four subsidiaries listed on the Bursa Malaysia and has ventured globally into more than 32 countries worldwide in its aspiration to be a leading oil and gas multinational of choice.


• Introduction of Petroleum Management Unit(PMU)
PETRONAS Petroleum Management Unit also known as PMU is part of PETRONAS subsidiaries in Exploration and Production, E&P, Business units. PMU is responsible in managing and steer the overall E&P activities in Malaysia. The Production Sharing Contract (PSC) is used as a mechanism to promote exploration investments and facilitate the development and production activities. In addition, PMU’s role also encompasses the optimization of Malaysia E&P assets and the management of all E&P companies operating in the country.

PMU’s lead by Vice President, E&P Business PETRONAS, Mr. Ramlan Abdul Malek. PMU is currently made up of six departments namely:
1- Petroleum Resources Exploration (PRE)
2- Petroleum Resource Department (PRD)
3- Petroleum Operation Management (POM)
4- Technology Capability & Data Management (TCDM)
5- HRM & Administrative Services and Strategic Planning (SP).
Each department is lead either by Senior General Manager, General Manager and Senior Manager. I have been designed into POM department which is one of biggest department in PMU.

• Introduction of Petroleum Operation Management (POM)
Petroleum Operation Management also known as POM is one out of six department in PMU. POM is responsible to control Production Sharing Contract (PSC), production operation activities, HSE management, Malaysianisation, procurement management and production/revenue allocation, and provide business support services to E&P Business units towards ensuring safe and prudent operation. POM also maximizes value creation/revenue to PETRONAS and the nation, in line with PETRONAS operation performance excellence aspiration.

Currently, POM is lead by Senior General Manager, Mr. Tamizi Hj Munir, and made up of six departments namely:
1- Production Operations department, lead by General Manager, Mr. Joseph Podtung
2- Drilling department, lead by General Manager, Mr. Ahmad Nahrawi Mohd
3- HSE department, lead by Senior Manager, Mr. Amer Othman
4- PSC Audit department, lead by Senior Manager, Mr Sadik Sardar
5- PSC Fiscal Management & Account department, lead by Senior Manager, Mr M Sokri Abdullah
6- Operation Performance Improvement (OPI) department, lead by Senior Manager, Mr. Khairul Anuar Mahadi.
In POM, I have been designed into Production Operation department.

• Introduction Of Production Operation (POS)
Production Operation, (POS) is one out or six departments in POM. POS is the biggest department in POM and has 4 units lead by senior manager. The units are:
1- Reservoir and Production
2- Hydrocarbon Allocation and Measurement
3- Facilities
4- Operation
I have been assigned in reservoir and production unit which is lead by Senior Manager, Encik Zahari Ibrahim.

Janji-janji yang Terdahulu

Post ni seharusnye dipostkan pada bulan Jun 2009 tatkala ana bermula sessi intern. semangat untuk berblog ni masih menebal dalam diri. jadi untuk membuktikan diri ana bukan beromong-omong kosong, ana pastekan kembali apa yang ana tulis yang seharusnya dipostkan pada Jun 2009.

Assalamualaikum

Alhamdulillah, diberikan kebenaran oleh Allah utk menghirup udara dan nikmat2 yg dicipta oleh yang Maha Kuasa. Terlebih dahulu, ana ingin mengucapkan ribuan kemaafan atas ke’tidak update’tan blog yang acapkali dinyatakan akan keistiqamahnya.namun janji hanya tinggal janji…sedar x sedar, sudah sebulan lebih tidak diupdate. Keterlintasan utk mengepost ini timbul hasil kata2 dri sahabat seperjuangan, Mr. Za’im yang menyatakan die merupakan peminat blog ana…[haha….sian za’im…dipergunakan]…

Bukan utk member alasan, jauh sekali utk menggunakan kesibukan kerja sebagai pemudah cara utk mengelakkan diri dlm berblog…ana akui, ketiadaan masa dan kurangnye kemudahan internet yang lengkap bleh dijadikan faktor,[kat pejabat x lps nak msuk blog], namun setiap perkara ade pemudaha caranya.

Maka arakian, setelah difikirkan cara, ana akan sedaya mungkin utk mengupdate blog[x berani utk berjanji]…insya Allah..ade kelapangan masa, ana akan menaip di Word pastu bru post. Xseperti dlu yg mane ianya on the spot…time tu la fikir, time tu la trus update…insya Allah..doakan…

Sedikit info…insya Allah, ana tika ini sedang berpraktikal di Petroleum Management Unit[PMU] di bawah department Petroleum Operation Management[POM] dan disubdepartmentkan di bawah Production Operation[POS] dan diunitkan dibawah reservoir engineer,subsurface. Insya Allah, next update akan diceritakan sedikit mengenai PMU ni…[dlm bahasa inggeris tu]…

fuh record baru selepas 2 tahun berblog.

8 bulan tu same tempohnye dgn tempoh menghadapi internship.

tajuk rumateku anep kekal selama 8 bulan.penangannye kene kat anep.[sampai bos die bace]....

insya Allah, 8 bulan tanpa update ni x bermakna ana tidak menulis, ade yg telah didokumentasikan sebenarnye, yg menceritakan perihal intern, lantaran dek kekangan masa, internet problem [xleh bukak blog kat ofis] sedikit sebanyak menyulitkan update blog ini.

terima kasih kepada provoker, saudara jimey atas sebab sentiasa memprovok utk mengupdate blog.

insya Allah, mungkin lonjakan dari semangat awang yg bru membuat blog sedikit sebanyak menaikkan kembali perasaan ingin berblog.

nantikan posting terbaru, posting yg sepatutnye dipostkan bila hari pertama start internship, berkenaan perancangan dan sebagainye.
